BSc Human Physiology, Genetics & Psychology (Final Year)

Final-year Bachelor of Science student majoring in Human Physiology, Genetics, and Psychology, with a genuine interest in how neurological systems function. I am particularly interested in how biological information is processed, organised and interpreted within complex systems and how these processes can be analysed and modelled scientifically. I enjoy working in structured environments that value accuracy, curiosity, and continuous learning. I would like to further my studies in the neurological field and aim to obtain a PhD in neuroscience.

Alongside my studies, I have gained practical experience through independent project development and part-time IT tutoring.

NeuroSight – Research-Oriented EEG Analysis Platform (v0.1.0)

High-Fidelity Analysis Prototype | View on GitHub
  • Designed and developed a high-fidelity EEG visualization and analysis platform integrating a React (Canvas-based) frontend with a Python-based digital signal processing (DSP) backend.
  • Built an artifact-aware interpretation engine that detects and classifies common EEG artifacts (e.g., ocular and motion artifacts) and dynamically adjusts confidence in neural analyses based on probabilistic signal contamination.
  • Implemented spectral feature extraction (Welch power spectral density) and spatial metrics (frontal/posterior ratio, hemispheric asymmetry) to support interpretable neurophysiological analysis.
  • Engineered a fully decoupled, lazy-loaded architecture enabling constant memory usage with smooth, high-resolution navigation across multi-hour EEG datasets (EDF/BDF).
  • Introduced confidence-aware interpretation, ensuring transparent analysis by scaling inference reliability based on detected artifact contamination in EEG signals.

Organic Archive – Independent Educational Platform

  • Designed and developed an educational platform to organise and visualise complex scientific content ,improving conceptual understanding.
  • Structured complex scientific information into a clear, searchable and logically organised format for students.
  • Implemented molecular visualisation tools and designed a custom Lewis structure drawing engine.
  • Demonstrated system-level thinking, independent problem-solving and long-term prodject management.

Information Technology Tutor

Independent / Private
  • Provided one-on-one and small-group tutoring in Information Technology concepts, logical problem-solving and applied systems.
  • Guided students in breaking down complex technical problems into structured, manageable steps.
  • Adapted explanations to different learning styles to support conceptual understanding and confidence.
  • Demostrated clear technical communication, structured thinking, and consistency in an academic teaching context.
